The taillight mounting bar and brackets are all constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum.
The brackets are attached to the trike frame using original mounting points on the trike. It was not necessary to drill any new holes in the trike frame, although I did slightly enlarge the holes to accept US standard fractional fastener hardware instead of metric. This was done simply because I already have a shop full of fractional fasteners and does not reflect any bias against the metric system.

I am considering mounting the Xenon strobe on the light bar instead of on the seat bag. This would make removing the seat bag much less of a hassle. I also need to move the safety triangle off the bag and rig some sort of mount for it aft of and just below the light bar.
