I didn't like any of the taillights available for bikes, so I made my own!
The LED Taillights are ordinary replacement trailer lights purchased at Wal Mart (Peterson PM brand V306R) and converted to LED operation. Each light is fitted with 12 super-bright 8000 mcd red LED's. The lights are designed to operate on 12 vdc, but could be built to operate on any voltage from 2.4 volts to 12+ volts simply by selecting the proper resistors. As configured, both taillights together have a 0.54 amp current draw. Contact me if you want more information. I have printed circuit boards available. The headlights are a pair of automotive halogen driving lights. The amber light is a high intensity Xenon strobe.
